Following in his parent's footsteps, Francois Hope started GMG STONE, Inc. in 1993.
The company at that time included Francois and two employees. In 1994, GMG was incorporated
and now had a place to call home - a 1,500 square foot shop and 10 employees.
GMG relocated in 1998 to a new location; this time their shop was 15,000 square feet
and had grown to 40 employees.
In 2001, GMG started its most enterprising endeavor; remodeling an existing
bowling alley located in El Cajon, California. According to Francois "our 2.5 acre facility
is now the largest custom-made granite fabrication facility on the West Coast."
On August 1, 2002 - with more than 100 employees the best state-of-the-art fabrication
equipment - GMG STONE, Inc., opened its doors with pride and introduced their magnificent
facility to their clients.
